The 6th edition of the Italian Cuisine in the world (Casentino 18-20 June & Marche 21-22 June) has been the launch pad for proposing the candidature to the UNESCO of the Italian Cuisine outside Italy as intangible World Heritage. In this sense the Forum has been a historic event also because for the first time around the ideal big table of the Plenary assembly (20 June), have been sitting in an unprecedented spirit of unity those who do Italian Cuisine everyday outside of Italy, great and prestigious chefs base in Italy and the representatives of all the associations of chefs and restaurateurs and of important schools.
The Forum has been the starting point of the process and had to be held in Italy. No better opportunity than the association with Capolavori a Tavola of Simone Fracassi, who has co-organised the Forum. However, now, the action must go back to the various countries of the world. Soon will start a big mobilization of chefs, restaurateurs and culinary professionals around the world. Indeed the occasion of the next, Second Italian Cuisine in the World (The Extraordinary Italian taste), scheduled for November 20-26 is a great opportunity to spread the word on and promote the bid for the Italian Cuisine outside of Italy as Unesco World Intangible Heritage.
