A Tuscan at the wheel of Hong Kong’s Tosca restaurant

After travelling the world in pursuit of his career, since July 2018 Nicola Russo has been Chef De Cuisine at Tosca, the renowned Michelin starred Italian restaurant located inside the luxurious Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Hong Kong.

Pisan of origin but with a wealth of culinary experience gained abroad in Australia, the Middle East, Asia, and Europe – from the Bulgari Resort ‘s Il Ristorante in Bali, to Tosca in Hong Kong, Nicola Russo has brought the best of Italian cuisine to an international array of discerning customers. And it is here in Hong Kong that all of his creativity and passion have found expression, amidst the elegant marble fountains, high ceilings and chandeliers, at stunning and stylish Tosca,located on the 103rd floor of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel. An all-Mediterranean challenge, begun in 2017 alongside Tosca’s former executive chef, the great Pino Lavarra, that today finds the young Tuscan chef at the helm of one of the most famous restaurants in Asia.

At the conclusion of the press conference, Nicola Russo and Gaetano Trovato, of Ristorante Arnolfo** in the Colle Val d’Elsa, will prepare a special “four-hands” dinner together.
